Leadership Defined

The definition of leadership I feel fits so much of what is done in a 501(c)3 organization comes from Situational Leadership:

• The Attempt to Influence Others

This definition insinuates one must not only "lead" subordinates but peers and supervisors. Whenever one "attempts to influence others" he/she is leading.

Looking Back

An effective leader, or a productive, focused person, does not look back. Looking back is only done for the purpose of learning more then moving on.
